When Peter Moore designed the first Air Jordan in 1985, he wanted to provide support for the dynamic superstar with the freakishly athletic game—without sacrificing comfort. Constructed entirely of tumbled leather, uppers keep the silhouette’s debut Black “skeleton” unlike recent pairs of both the Jordan 1 Low and Jordan 1 Mid. this Air Jordan 1 takes on Pine Green on the toebox, side panels, and ankle/heel along with black overlays for contrast. A hit of Gym Red is then seen on the glossy Nike Air branding on the tongue with a blacked out Wings logo placed on the ankle. Finishing details include black on the tongue, laces, and inner liner, a white midsole, and a Pine Green rubber outsole.
